At Sumisho Global Logistics Co., Ltd. (SGL), we launched a non-vessel operating common carrier (NVOCC) specializing in international integrated transport services in the United States after the enforcement of the new maritime legislation in the United States, and then expanded our business to Europe and Asia.
At the moment, our intermodal transport system with worldwide coverage has been established to most effectively combine different modes of transport to deal with the door-to-door delivery of all export and import cargo, including container cargo, heavy goods, long items, hazardous goods, items requiring temperature, humidity and vibration control and general freight to meet customers' needs.
