Supporting the expansion of sales channels through logistics

International Trade Business Affairs Back Office Services

Company A, which handled machinery and equipment, had been developing its business mainly domestically.
Part of its export business had been conducted by internal sales clerks.
Amid that situation, Company A's products were gaining recognition around the world and its export business was growing, with the number of shipment destination countries increasing alongside the volume of goods it handled.
The internal sales clerks found it increasingly difficult to confirm necessary procedures and make arrangements in time for shipping. This caused unforeseen schedule delays and unnecessary additional costs.

SGL visited Company A to confirm the actual cargo and conduct a hearing on information such as the concerns and unclear areas of the personnel in charge.
We explained the necessary arrangements and documents to the personnel in charge. Once they understood the details, we proceeded with the shipping arrangements.
We successfully exported to new destinations using our proposed transportation plan based on the customer's requests.
Moreover, because the arrangements were made with the understanding of the personnel in charge, they too are now able to explain areas such as the background of transport arrangements during business talks with customers. This also lead to increased customer trust in personnel in charge.
