Addressing the storage issues with in-house containers
Liquid transport using MAXICON
Company A had been purchasing and using “returnable containers” for delivery to its customers on its own.
However, product manufacturing quantities were not constant, and following the year’s two busy seasons, space in the plant would be constricted by the empty containers.
At the same time, it was difficult for Company A to immediately purchase additional containers when they were short of them. As a result, dealing with such shortages was also an issue.

SGL’s MAXICON rental service allows customers to rent as many containers as they need when they need them, and return them at any time.
By introducing the use of MAXICON, Company A saw the containers it held drop to the minimum necessary level, enabling it to curb the amount of investment.
Simultaneously, the company is now able to respond flexibly to fluctuations in manufacturing volume as well as effectively utilize the storage space for empty containers that had been constricted during off-peak periods.
On top of that, MAXICON can be folded to reduce its height by one-third and stacked* to achieve efficient storage.

*Up to five layers can be stacked when assembling MAXICON; up to fifteen layers can be stacked when folding it

Production quantities equaling MAXICON rental quantities makes a waste-free container cycle possible
